NABU said that they had arrested former people’s Deputy Nikolay Martynenko in the investigation of criminal case upon plunder of means of state enterprise Eastern mining and processing plant.
Detectives NABOO detained Mykola Martynenko today at the reception of MP Jezersko Denis.
In a press-service of the Ministry reported that the investigators believe that this state enterprise has signed a contract with the intermediary company controlled by detained ex-Deputy, for the supply of uranium concentrate at inflated prices.
As a result, the interests of the state enterprise in the years 2014-2016 was damaged in the amount of 17.28 million US dollars.
It is noted that the Deputy is suspected of crimes under articles about creation of criminal organisation and embezzlement of property by abuse of official position.
