Minsk is counting on $70 million in compensation for the supply of “dirty oil” from Russia

Минск рассчитывает на $70 млн компенсации за поставки "грязной нефти" из России

Belarus hopes for compensation because of the incident associated with the supply of contaminated hlororganika of Russian oil through the pipeline “Druzhba”, said the Ambassador of Belarus to Russia Vladimir Semashko.

According to him, this issue was discussed on 7 December in Sochi at the talks, Lukashenko and Putin, reports RIA Novosti.

Semashko also said that the issue of price for Russian gas should be agreed in the next two weeks.

According to the Ambassador of Belarus, Moscow and Minsk have also found a solution for the removal of existing restrictions on supplies of Belarusian foodstuffs to Russia.
