Ukrainian world champion in the second Featherweight Vasyl Lomachenko is ready for new big battles.
Eighth APR Lomachenko in Maryland will meet the “regular” champion WBA world Jason Sosai. If all goes according to plan, the Ukrainian, in the second half of 2017 Basil can fight for the world title in a third weight class.
Potential opponents Lomachenko’s Manager Egis Klimas Ukrainian called unbeaten champion WBC lightweight champion Mikey Garcia and the winner of the WBO Welterweight Manny Pacquiao.
“Lomachenko told me that he will gladly play a match against Mikey Garcia. As for Pacquiao, I don’t think he will be able to go down to light weight. However, I’m not kidding, and I say in all seriousness: if we can run some fights in the lightweight category, and Pacquiao will be able to go down to this weight, send me the contract we will sign it”, – quotes the words Klimas portal “BoxingScene”.
Another objective Vasyl Lomachenko is considered to be the world champion under version WBO lightweight champion Terry Flanagan, to go the distance in order to which can and Mikey Garcia.
