Russia said about a possible meeting with Lavrov Tillerson Alaska on may 10-11.
In the framework of the meeting of the Council of foreign Ministers of the Arctic Council may meet Russian foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and Secretary General of the United States Rex Tillerson.
This was stated by the Deputy Minister of foreign Affairs of Russia Sergey Ryabkov.
In particular, according to Ryabkov, Lavrov and Tillerson need to continue the conversation on the topic of Syria and other aspects, in which between the U.S. and Russia have differences.
“This is the next opportunity for the Minister and the Secretary of state to continue what was discussed in Moscow during the visit. There is no doubt that they have anything to talk about. A number of issues have arose after a meeting in Moscow. In addition to the Arctic theme, the agenda is quite extensive. I hope that happens this meeting to organize, and in due time, and without delay a notification will be given,” – said Ryabkov.
