Kiev officials decided to adopt the experience of Singapore to develop the capital
The Ukrainian capital will draw from the experience of Singapore to ensure the life of the city. This was told first Deputy Chairman of Kyiv city state administration Gennady FPGA.
He noted that the advanced country in the world has reached such a development through the fight against corruption, proper selection of personnel and “the battle for investment”. Regarding the latter, they simplify all the procedures that are possible, in order to attract new investors on the most favorable terms.
“Much attention is paid to Singaporeans planning. First, for each sector develops a conceptual plan for 50 years, then a master plan of 10 years. The General plan is reviewed in 5 years and the concept – every 10 years. That is why today they have the free space to keep the transport hubs, as those hubs was laid 50 years ago in the conceptual plans. I think the most interesting for us is the understanding that the most important is planning. Early and preliminary,” stressed the official.
He also noted that Singapore is reminiscent of Kyiv and on the territory, and the number of people.
