Japan has accused North Korea of kidnapping Japanese.
The Minister of foreign Affairs of Japan, Fumio Kishida, accused North Korea of kidnapping Japanese citizens.
He said this in new York at a meeting of the UN security Council on North Korea’s nuclear program.
“Korean agents infiltrated Japan and kidnapped Japanese citizens including a 13-year-old girl. This undermines the sovereignty of Japan and sow fear among our citizens. It is a violation of fundamental human rights,” he said.
According to him, Pyongyang is committed to nuclear weapons due to the well-being of ordinary North Koreans.
The Japanese Minister also called on all countries to increase pressure on North Korea.
“Any new provocations, including nuclear tests should be a reason for adopting more stringent resolution of the UN security Council, he said.
