This statement was made by the Prime Minister of Iraq.
Prime Minister Haider al-Abad said on Saturday that Iraq had “fully liberated” from the militants of the terrorist group “Islamic state”.
“Commander Haider Alabadi announced that the Iraqi armed forces provide security in the Western desert and around the Iraqi-Syrian border, saying it marks the end of the war against terrorists, which completely defeated and withdrew from Iraq,” the statement Federal governments official Twitter page.

The coalition under US leadership, which supports the Iraqi forces against the “Islamic state”, expressed his sincere greeting.
“The coalition welcomes people of Iraq with their significant victory against ISIS. We support them because they set the conditions for a secure and prosperous future of Iraq,” said the coalition in a statement on Twitter.
