The working group in the Department studies the “black list” of sites.
In the list of sites for closure, there are hundreds of resources that pose a threat to the national interests of Ukraine.
This was announced by the Deputy Minister of information policy Dmitry Zolotukhin.
He noted that he had received from volunteers they recommended the closure of sites and the lists are already locked resources.
“That is, lists are already there… I’m not going to disclose the number of such sites, it gets hundreds of these sites, that is, sent a lot of information, but not the fact that there is always have reason (to close – ed.). Therefore we now carefully analyze this information, because there are certain gaps in the Ukrainian legislation, the mechanism for its implementation. And now we want a very careful analysis of what is. Directly the names of the sites don’t divulge in order not to cause hysteria and speculation in this side, including the Pro-Russian media” – said Zolotukhin.
He also believes that the process of publication of the list of these sites can not be inclusive.
“That is, we first want to consult with people who have authority in the media community to hear the voice of the public and how they appreciate it,” added the Deputy Minister.
Zolotukhin also said that Ukraine has certain obligations to the international community, including in the framework of international treaties and conventions which it has signed.
“And now we have not to cross that red line and not to sink to this undemocratic approach. We are doing everything very gradually,” he said.
