In 2018 in the consulates of Schengen countries in Ukraine have applied for Schengen visas 191 726 times, almost four times less than the number of hits in 2017 (720 976).
Due to the rapid fall in demand Ukraine to 2018 dropped to 16th in the world in the number submitted for visa applications. In 2017, we were on the 6th place in 2016 in third with 1.4 million applications.
It is noteworthy that dropped the share of multiple entry visas – from of 182, 4 thousand issued in Ukraine of Schengen visas only 25.5 percent, or 46.6 per thousand – multiple (last year to 59.7%). Increased slightly compared with the previous year the proportion of refusals to 4.7% from 3.7%.
A similar situation is observed in Georgia, where the number of applications for visas of this year fell 8 times, and was only the 2,927 applications (for comparison, in 2016, it was more than 100 thousand applications).
Everything in the world in 2018 was issued to 14.25 million Schengen visas, which is 400 thousand less than last year.
