In particular, can prohibit the surrender of the apartment.
In the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine registered a bill that significantly toughens rules of rental of premises, in particular forbids to hand over the apartments.
The relevant document, initiated by the head of the faction “BPP” Arthur Gerasimov, was published on the Parliament website. Thus, the bill provides for amendments to the Housing code and the code of Ukraine on administrative offences.
In particular, they relate to the use of apartments in high-rise buildings for other purposes. The apartment owners can rent them out and conduct economic activity only in cases when not in use, the working strength and if not violated the rights and interests of other apartment owners. Violators face administrative liability.
It is also proposed to introduce restrictions: apartments are no longer rent and use as hotels. It is also impossible to rent a property in the high-rises 16 floors and more for office space.
Some changes will affect and hostels. They will continue to exist, but will need to respond to clear rules. In the project room will be required to allocate at least 4 square meters for a sleeping place and not less than 6 square metres of floor space per person, with EN-Suite facilities or shared use.
At the same time, the act will not apply to non-residential premises located on the basement, first, second and top floors of an apartment building, which are rented as offices.
