A place that is worth to see for everyone.
In the Swiss Alps is a small settlement Tawian, which is popular with tourists wanting to look at the way of life 100 years ago. The village is located at an altitude of 1649 meters above sea level, was a real historical monument. Most of the buildings are wooden, they are about 100 years old and they do not have electricity.
In 1970, the settlement became part of the reserve and local residents have even more to worry about the future of the village and its surrounding landscapes. The only local Refuge de Taveyanne offers traditional Swiss dishes such as fondue and overnight on a couple of sailors in the attic.
