In the Odessa regional state administration believe that the creation of a landfill is a necessity.
In the Odessa region in the village of Tuzla tatarbunar district will create a testing ground for missile and military equipment. About it reported in a press-service of the Odessa regional state administration with reference to the results of the meeting head of the regional state administration Maxim Stepanov with representatives of the relevant departments and units.
“The Chairman of the Odessa regional state administration held a meeting on the issue of government testing ground of weapons and military equipment in the village of Tuzla tatarbunarsky area. The meeting was held without the press due to the fact that the issues discussed are a military secret,” – said in the message.
According to Stepanov, the parties were able to compromise and found a mechanism that suits everyone.
“We understand that in difficult times, our country suffers, we all need efficient army. Therefore, the polygon, which will be tested Ukrainian rocketry, right now, we have the need. Previously, these tests took place in the Crimea, but now, when the Peninsula occupied, there are conditions to our army held them here, in the Odessa region”, – said the head of RSA.

It is noted that in the Tatarbunarsky area is a nature reserve of national importance “Tuzlovsky limans”.
“It is also important to preserve the unique lands of the Odessa region, such as “Tuzlovsky limans”. No landfill in the reserve will not and cannot be. The landfill will be located elsewhere in the Tatarbunarsky area, where it will not threaten the ecology of the region”, – said Stepanov.
He also emphasized that communities living near military range, where you will pass the test, carry out explanatory work.
