The project envisages the creation of the house which is partially integrated into the natural landscape, which should allow the hosts to get closer to nature.
Recently the architects from the Bureau Rieuldorang Atelier completed the construction of the house Baomaru House located in Cheongdo-gun (South Korea). The owners wanted to get housing which wouldn’t seem like a standard apartment, so designers designed the mansion, partially hidden in the hill.
Architects relied on the concept of “a house in the land – nature in the house.” Some living spaces in the mansion are located below the ground level, which makes the owners, accustomed to live in apartment buildings, to experience new sensations.
The white house walls treated with special water-repellent Lotusan coating. Therefore, during rain, the facade is cleaned like a Lotus flower: dirt washed off with water.
