The boy was a foster child in the family.
Investigative Committee completed the investigation of a couple of the Volgograd region, accused of stealing a child for concealment of the death of the adopted son, according to the Agency. The indictment was submitted for consideration to the court.
According to investigators, in September 2016, four-year Egor, the adopted son of 48-year-old man and his 47-year-old wife, knocked over a pot of boiling water. The mother, seeing the burns, and decided that I could cure them myself, and seeing on September 27 that the child was dead, buried her in the backyard. The rest she allegedly said that the boy was gone.
The couple continued to receive benefits for a dead child, and until 8 may 2017 all except the mother, was allegedly confident that he was gone. 7 may in the city of Morozovsk, Rostov region neighboring the couple grabbed a young child from the hands of his grandmother, an elderly woman in the face sprayed from the gas cylinder.
The next day the couple was detained, and the stolen baby was returned to his parents. After the arrest, they said that the boy “liked them”.
It was later revealed that the family lost an adopted son was a criminal case under the item “in” parts of 2 articles 105 of the criminal code (murder of a minor), but in the indictment of this article is not.
Both adults are charged under paragraphs “a”, “b”, “g” and “d” of part 2 of article 12 of the criminal code (kidnapping of a minor committed by a group of persons upon a preliminary collusion with the use of violence and weapons). The woman also accused under article 125 of the criminal code (leaving in danger), part 1 of article 109 of the criminal code (causing death by negligence) and article 159.2 of the criminal code (fraud with payouts).
