The government has already blocked access to several other Internet pages calling for protests.
Russia’s investigative Committee said on Saturday that opened a criminal case against unidentified persons, who called an anti-corruption demonstration in Moscow on 2 April. The initiators are accused of “incitement to riot”.
“According to investigators, 29 March the Internet, an unknown person under a pseudonym has posted text messages that call for extremist actions,” the newspaper notes.
According to reports, the government has already blocked access to several other Internet pages calling for protests.
As reported, on March 26, tens of thousands of people took to the streets in dozens of cities of Russia, demanding the report on ways of enriching the head of the government of Russia Dmitry Medvedev. It was the largest anti-government protests in the country over the past five years. More than a thousand people were detained, including politician Alexei Navalny, who is currently behind bars serving a 15-day administrative sentence.
Headed in the Bulk structure, having the name “Fund of struggle against corruption”, has already declared that is not privy to the organization of protest actions on 2 April.
Russian President Vladimir Putin said on 30 March that should be punished protesters who break the law, that is involved in illegal demonstrations or cause a mess.
