The incident occurred June 17 at a railway crossing near the village Parkino Bessonovskogo district of the Penza region.
According to the press service of the Volga transport Prosecutor’s office driving a tractor “Belarus” was 42-the summer local resident. The man did not pay attention to the warning signals of a passenger train, and sent a car to the crossing, where was driving, going along the route “Vorkuta – Adler”.
Apparently, the driver initially was not going to slip in the last seconds – a few minutes before the train was to pass the crossing, he suddenly sent a tractor to RAM the locomotive. At a distance of 300 metres the driver of the train applied the emergency brake but could not avoid the collision. The driver of the tractor died, the locomotive of the train was damaged and was replaced at station Penza-1. None of the passengers on the train were not injured. It is known that the owner of the tractor was the victim.
