The country has a new defense Minister.
Romania’s President Iohannis signed the decree about appointment of the defense Minister and former economy Minister, social-Democrat Mihai Fifor.
It is reported by UKRINFORM correspondent.
As reported in the presidential administration of Romania, the President also signed a decree appointing the new Minister of economy: it was the representative of the ruling Social democratic coalition Gheorghe Shimon.
A few days earlier, former defence Minister Adrian Zuzanu resigned. The occasion was mistakenly published information that allegedly in the Ministry of Finance of Romania no funds to pay the salaries of soldiers.
The Finance Ministry denied this information, saying that military salaries will be paid in the statutory period, i.e. before 15 September.
