One of the leaders of the Romanian national unity Party Doreen Duschak convinced that is planned for 2018, a joint meeting of the parliaments of Moldova and Romania can become a platform for beginning the unification of the two States.
This opinion he expressed at the meeting in Bucharest of the speaker of the Moldovan Parliament Andrian CANDU and leaders of the Romanian Parliament, reports “UKRINFORM”.
“Joint meeting of the legislative bodies of the two countries can be a wonderful platform for the development and approval of a single proposal about the unification of the two States,” said Duschek.
In his opinion, the symbolic significance of the joint meeting of the parliaments of Romania and Moldova lies in the fact that the MPs will be the quorum for the adoption of specific decisions, including in the sphere of enterprises of the two countries.
According to recent opinion polls, the number of citizens of Moldova, advocating the Union with Romania ranges from 20% to 23%.
