In the Rivne region, the police seized at the point of buying 500 kg of amber was worth UAH 2 million.
Reportedly, law enforcement authorities received information about the activities of the network of points of buying illegally mined stone. This information was confirmed. The room was used not only as a point of receiving of amber, but also for storage and processing of stone.
Police have established designated points of buying and storing the “sun stone”.

March 14, on the basis of a court order, the employees of Department of protection of the economy in the Rivne region, the investigators of the regional police and Prosecutor’s office of Rivne region was carried out the authorized searches in the city and several districts of the region.
