A woman gave birth in the toilet of the Riga city maternity hospital. In the incident, the couple blame the nurses, according to the man, after all still got nasty.
Sunday in the morning Vladislav took my girlfriend at the Riga maternity hospital. “When you told me that bear today – supposedly the uterus is opened to 4 cm, is about to give birth. “She slashed the water and told me to go to the toilet. There she was in labor. Frightened girl clutched the child between your legs so he fell down and broke everything that they could. All around was blood – she, the walls… somehow, she reached for the button and called for help.”
According to Vladislav, he wouldn’t have become all this talk, if not yet the rudeness of medical staff. “The girl went to the ward nurse and asked for something for the pain. She asked what account she’s in labor, she replied that third. The response of the nurse: “what do you think? The fifth will be even harder,” and gave the candle. However, during childbirth by a midwife, who oversaw the process, and the baby will be born in the presence of medical personnel. The newborn was immediately examined by the neonatologist, the child’s condition was assessed as good. The condition mom was also assessed as relevant, so she can stay together with the baby.”
According to the representative of the Riga city maternity hospital, the patient chose the private room, which was granted to her. The next day with a woman again individually discussed the situation. “The patient had no complaints nor to the medical staff of the hospital or to living conditions in the postnatal ward. The case is also discussed with medical staff. Now mommy and baby are already home. The hospital sincerely wish the family a lot of joy along with a healthy baby,” says Jana Priedniece.
In 2016, the Inspectorate of public health received nine complaints about the Riga maternity hospital. Two of them have already been considered – one complaint is substantiated (Pediatrics) and one unreasonable (gynecology), and the remainder are still under consideration. In the first quarter of 2017 received three complaints, of which one considered and found to be unsubstantiated. “Referred to in the allegations relate to prenatal care, along with care for the health of mother and child during and after giving birth,” – says the representative of the Inspectorate of health miglane the Internet.
Vladislav also intends to complain to the Inspectorate of public health.
