April 12 at the 83rd year of life died in Moscow Sergei Strakhov, Director of documentary and popular science films, honored artist of Georgia.
Sergey Strakhov worked on the Georgian Studio of documentaries and popular science films, the Studio “Tsentrnauchfilm” and TV channel “Culture”.
Among the most famous works of the Director should note the following: “I and We”, “Partners”, “Autumn Tbilisi balconies”, “Yesenin in Georgia,” Metamorphoses, “About a white bull”, “Sample Rossetti”, “the Memory of the proud lion”, “Friendship of peoples myth or reality”.
One of the last tapes Strakhov was the documentary “Soviet Country”, filmed in 2004 – about the life and career of people’s artist of the USSR, Soviet and Russian film Director Georgy Danelia.
