The Department of urban planning and architecture announced the beginning of public discussion of the draft strategic document “concept of development of Cycling infrastructure in Kyiv.”
After processing the comments and suggestions from the public the text of the concept will be supplemented by appropriate diagrams and illustrations, will be a literary editing and will be submitted for consideration the profile commissions of the city Council for further approval of the members of city Council.
The customer concept is the Department, developer – KP “Kiev development center of the urban environment” with the support of TH “Association of cyclists of Kiev”. Estimated value of the agreement amounts to 495 thousand UAH.
In addition, the Department announced a nationwide architectural competition for the preliminary design of the revival of the river Pochayna with the landscaping of the “Park pochayna”. The purpose of the contest – the restoration of the river Pochayna methods of architecture, forming on its shores Park ensemble and creating a public space which would become a unique object of architecture and landscape.
Now the Department prepares regulatory documents, forms, jury and expert group.
