Ukrainians on the Internet offered a job in Italy that was illegal
In Italy for two years have detained about 40 Ukrainian suspected of illegal transportation of migrants. About it told the official representative of the Department of consular service of the Ministry of foreign Affairs of Ukraine Vasily Kirilich.
So, Kirilich said that the Ukrainians were detained in the period from 2014 to 2016. “During 2014-2016 in Italy detained and arrested about 40 citizens of Ukraine on suspicion of transporting illegal migrants,” he said. As announced to present the Russian foreign Ministry, Ukrainians via the Internet offered jobs in Italy supposedly in the tourism sector, in particular, to carry tourists on the boat. As it turned out, in fact “the mission they performed another” and she was hailed by Italian law enforcement as violation of the legislation of the country.
At the moment, the Ukrainian consuls in contact with the detained citizens of Ukraine-they are entitled to consular protection, investigations on the case continue.
