Clashes between Palestinians and Israeli security forces are in five areas of the West Bank of the Jordan river and the Gaza strip with the participation of several hundred local residents.
The riots, according to estimates of military, are still less widespread as compared to Friday’s protests against the U.S. decision on recognition of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital and the transfer of the us Embassy there.
“In areas of turmoil are forces of the border police and the Israel defense forces. The situation remains under control,” from military reports.
In the West Bank clashes occur, in particular, controlled by the Israelis of the entrances to the city of Ramallah, Bethlehem and Tulkarem. The Israeli police announced the crackdown on a protest in one of the Arab neighborhoods of Jerusalem, where several dozen people tried to block the road.
