The dark pages of history.
It has been over 40 years since the day when the American helicopters rose into the air over the U.S. Embassy in Saigon, fled from there jam-pocketed people, and that was the end of the Vietnam war.
This war was a strange and eerie perhaps the most strange and terrible in the long history of American violence. First, in this war the U.S. lost. Secondly, it is treated as a national disgrace.
Vietnam veterans in the United States civil doused all possible slop sometimes deservedly, but more often simply because it expressed a General protest against the war in Vietnam.
