British rider Sky Christopher froome defended his title of winner of the legendary French race.
The penultimate stage of the “Big loop” was a 22-kilometer individual race with separate start. On distance riders went to the bowl of the stadium “the velodrome”. There was the finish line.
Christopher froome before the cut-23 seconds ahead of Romain bardet, but the main rival of the yellow Jersey was considered Rigoberto Uran, lagged behind the leader at 29 seconds.
No chance to win yet another triumph for froome at Tour de France competitors were not. The Briton increased his lead, but could not hold on for the stage victory. Six seconds newly minted four-time winner of the race ahead of pole of “Bora-hansgrohe” Maciej Bodnar.
