Most of the rise in price affected the price of beet.
The most expensive vegetable BORSHCHOV set was the beets. Average price of 3-5 UAH/kg.
On the largest wholesale market in the Western region red beets offered at a price of 4.5-5 UAH/kg, on the market in Kiev the price of vegetables is at the level of 3-5 UAH/kg, the cheapest beet can now be found on the market in the Kherson region at the price of 3-3,5 UAH/kg.
Experts note that in comparison with last year, the vegetable market of Ukraine has risen in price more than twice.
Other traditional vegetables fell. The price of carrots decreased to 4-5 UAH/kg, Cabbage now stands at 2.5-2.7 UAH/kg. Kilogram of potatoes can be purchased at 3-3,7 UAH/kg, for onion offer 3-3,6 UAH/kg.
Over the last month in Ukraine, the price of beef grew by 3.5%, a kilogram of chicken has risen by 3.9%, fat by 5.2%.
