Photographer Casey Morton managed to photograph members of one of the most powerful groups in New Zealand Black Power NZ, consisting of Polynesians and Maori.
According to Morton, he was allowed to spend a day and a half in the company of these tough guys only thanks to his cousins that are gang members.
Upon completion of the project, the photographer said: They were extremely generous with me. It seemed that sometimes I was just hanging out with family, uncles and brothers, but at the same time, I knew and felt that they have a dark side, and there better not to meddle.
