Award-winning midfielder “Manchester city” David Silva ended his career in Spain.
Silva played in the Spain national team since 2006. On account of a 32-year-old midfielder 129 matches and 37 goals.
“For days and weeks I pondered, and analyzed, to decide about retirement in Spain. It is certainly one of the most difficult decisions in my career.
The national team gave me everything and allowed me to grow as a player and as a person. I am proud to complete 12 years with the national team, with which I won the world championship and twice became the champion of Europe.
With the team I’ve got what you wanted. Finish an era filled with emotion and many moments that I will never forget,” wrote Silva on his page on “Twitter”.
After the world Cup in addition to David Silva’s international career in the Spanish national team made two iconic soccer player, defender Gerard Pique and midfielder Andres Iniesta.
