The manufacturer refuses to shed a contract with the famous brand.
The American company Brown-Forman decided not to renew the contract with Coca-Cola Hellenic Bottling Company (HBC) to distribute its products, including Finlandia vodka and Jack Daniel’s whiskey, on the Russian market.
A source told the publication that the decision to stop working due to dissatisfaction with Brown-Forman “organization and dynamics of the sales of its brands in Russia.”
In Coca-Cola HBC confirmed the information about the termination of cooperation and added that the company will continue to be a distributor of the brands Brown-Forman until 28 February 2018.
According to the newspaper, the new distributor will be the company “AST inter”, which in 1992 founded Telman Ismailov. She already acts as the technical importer of products Brown-Forman.
On the company’s website States that it is already cooperating with Baccardi, Brown-Forman, Moet Hennessy and other manufacturers. In particular, it sells on the Russian market of liqueurs Baileys, Campari, Cointreau, Jagermeister, Captain Morgan rum. Also in the catalog there is vodka, including “Putinka” and “Russian standard”.
Coca-Cola HBC is a distributor of alcoholic beverages Brown-Forman in Russia since 2010.
