For the first half of 2017, there were more than two thousand accidents
The reason for the resonance of an accident with coaches was the deterioration of discipline of drivers and responsible for the organisation of road safety in enterprises.
This was stated in interview to the newspaper “Izvestia” by Deputy transport Minister Nikolay Asaul.
“Save on drivers, forcing them to recycle. In some cases, the cause was driver error, sometimes it is a consequence of the organization of work at the enterprise: there must be two drivers, and works alone. This is one of the most common causes of non-compliance with traffic rules, speed limits, rules of overtaking, the track,” he said.
According to the Deputy Minister, for the first half of 2017, there were more than two thousand accidents involving licensed transportation in which more than 100 people were killed and over three thousand were injured.
Rostransnadzor from January to June of 2017 conducted more than 300 inspections after accidents caused by drivers licensed road passenger transport. By results of checks issued 185 orders; administrative proceedings were brought against 11 entities and more than 20 officers and 20 individual entrepreneurs.
According to Asaul, in the courts are the materials on the suspension of the four licenses, bringing to administrative responsibility of legal 24 and 35 officials, as well as 53 individual entrepreneurs. The sum of imposed fines amounted to seven million rubles.
