Jules Verne continues to amaze.
April 4, during the excavations led by French researchers from the University of Paris Descartes and the “explorers’ Club of new York,” was discovered the time capsule, which could belong to the famous science fiction writer Jules Verne. This unusual finding was made after an extensive study notes of the writer, his personal documents, writings and his grave.
Verne, who is often called the father of science fiction, is the Creator of the world famous series of adventure novels. His work “Twenty thousand leagues under the sea, Journey to the center of the Earth” and “Around the world in eighty days” was read generation. Jules Verne is one of the most translated novelists in the world, along with Shakespeare and Agatha Christie. The writer died in 1905 from complications of diabetes at the age of 77 years and was buried in the cemetery de La Madeleine in Amiens.
French archaeologists have unearthed a metal box, which dates back to, as they say, the nineteenth century. It is filled with documents, articles, books and metal objects. The box also has an engraving but it is hardly visible due to oxidation. If you’re lucky, these documents may be unpublished materials or personal notes of the writer. Unfortunately, the records that spent more than a century under the ground, to disassemble is not so simple.
Some yellowed documents are in danger, because you can crumble right into the hands of researchers. Scientists conducted a special x-ray examination box in an inert environment, so as not to damage the already worn out material. Still not officially made the conclusion that the time capsule is directly connected with the Right, but researchers are convinced that this is so.
An archaeologist from the University of Paris Descartes Aloin Bosiu plans to give a press conference to shed some light on the finding and give opinion on results. French researchers believe that their discovery belongs to Vern or any of his relative, and that the box was buried in the late nineteenth century. If these documents are indeed unpublished writer, the world is waiting for a miracle.
