Something went wrong.
During the presentation of new products Apple failed one of the features of the new flagship iPhone X Face ID that recognizes the face of the smartphone owner.
The confusion occurred with the senior Vice-President of Apple on software development Craig Federighi.
During a demonstration of the new gadget and it’s right on the scene tried to unlock the iPhone X using Face ID, but when Federighi picked up the phone to face, the software did not recognize him and asked to use the access code of the device.
“Here is the iPhone X. Now to unlock it as easily as look at him… Let’s try it again”, – said the representative of Apple bewildered the crowd.
Then Federighi got a backup phone that did a great demonstration of the new features.
“It didn’t go as planned, and it was pretty embarrassing. As we all know, technology doesn’t always work the way we want it. But when you are a billion dollar company and you just finished explaining how complex the new system, it is better to work”, – notes the edition.
