The participants of the blockade want to continue the action with a weapon.
Blockade in the Donbass will continue, despite the threats of authorities to apply the special police force against its participants. This was reported on the page of the headquarters of the trade embargo in Facebook.
“The blockade will continue! All the threats from the corrupt government indicate that we are on the right path and give us strength and inspiration to cut down the financing of terrorism and occupants who remain free,” reads the statement of the headquarters.
It is argued that the threat of armed attack “will not affect the decision of the Ukrainian patriots to stop trade of blood and financing of terrorism”.
The headquarters of the blockade was addressed “to the patriots of Ukraine with officially registered weapons, with a call to join the ranks of the participants of the blockade, to defend unarmed volunteers, social activists and other participants of the blockade.”
In addition, the activists promised to start blocking roads. The first checkpoint was opened near the village of Zolote in the Luhansk region.
