Australian fisherman accidentally caught a pregnant three-meter shark.
According to him, it was the largest shark that he saw in the waters of the river.
“…I was hooked. I knew immediately that this production is much more than I expected,” admitted the fisherman.
Madallena along with his assistant for 45 minutes, pulled the fish out of the water with nets to unhook the hook. Later they released the shark back into the water.
“We made sure she was not injured. She probably was pregnant with multiple babies,” said Madalena.
In the local Department, in turn, said that the river lead to the various species of sharks, including bull (also called the “roundnose”) and tiger.
