In the National natural Park “Skole Beskids” in the Lviv region had five bison.

As described in the Department of ecology and natural resources of Lviv regional state administration, in the warm season the bison feed on grass and woody forage, and winter is feeding these forages as hay, straw, fodder beet, cabbage, concentrated feed.
Note that in the skolivski Beskydy in the Lviv region has a program to support the Maidan of subpopulation European bison (Bison bonasus L.) in the period 2017-2026 years, resulting in successfully increasing the population of animals listed in the Red book of Ukraine.
Bison is a very large hoofed animal, once almost disappeared from the face of the earth, but miraculously saved. Bison belong to the family of bovids and are related with various kinds of wild bulls, Buffalo, Yak, banteng, Gaur. The closest relative of the bison is an American bison, with whom he was even able to give fertile hybrids.
