In theaters this summer – the new film of John R. Leonetti (“the Curse of Annabelle”) the youth horror film “Wish Upon”, Russian distributors which gets my personal award for the most boring localization of the original name, because someone not very smart decided that “Box” sounds cooler than “Make a wish”.
In short, we got the third trailer of the movie. The movie itself is an alloy of several horror motifs fit 1990-2000: the trailer is not difficult to notice something in common “Boxes” and “Magic” or “destination”. Well, the most obvious Association is, of course, “Wishmaster” – in the film, Leonetti even a demon there is, however, he from time behind the scenes.
Loser of adolescence finds a mysterious box that grants wishes. Now she will get even with all who laugh at her, but what fee will ask for the box instead?
