Captain of “Dynamo” Andriy Yarmolenko once again inscribed his name in the history of Ukrainian football.
Yarmolenko has quite a successful season in his career, but in the second part of the season, the Dynamo has turned into a properly marked and scored goals in their last six Premier League matches on account of Andrew’s seven goals.
Thanks to this breakthrough Yarmolenko managed to become the sole record holder of the championship of Ukraine. In the match with Chornomorets, the 27-year-old scored twice and brought the number of goals in the Premier League to 11.
Thus, Yarmolenko became the first player, who managed seven seasons in a row to score in the Ukrainian League at least 10 goals each. Before Yarmolenko shared the record with former striker of “Shakhtar” and “Dnepr” Eugene Seleznev.
Andriy Yarmolenko is fast approaching to becoming the fifth player in the history of the championship of Ukraine, scored at least 100 goals. At the moment, on account of the winger’s 92 goals in 218 matches.
