Ukrainian tennis Illya Marchenko and Sergiy Stakhovsky – a step away from getting into the main draw of Wimbledon.
Marchenko in the semi-final qualification in a bitter three-set winner is the opposition to beat the experienced German Benjamin Becker. The match lasted nearly 2.5 hours and ended strong-willed victory of the tennis player from Donetsk.
The first set Becker took two breaks. In the second game Marchenko with the score 4:5 played triple match-point. At the tiebreak Ilya equalized, and in the final set finished off the opponent.
In the final qualifying for the Wimbledon Ilya Marchenko will play with Liam or Marcus Brody Willis.
