Ukrainian swimmer Andrey Govorov won the bronze medal held in the Budapest world championship in water sports.
Govorov in the 50-meters butterfly with the best result (22,92 seconds) won the preliminary heats and in the semi-finals with the index (22,77) lost only American to Caleb Erwin dressel.
In the final round of the Negotiations confirmed their medal ambitions. A native of Sebastopol due to the good initial reaction brought the first medal for Ukraine in the world Championships 2017. To circumvent Govorov could only Benjamin Prout and Nicholas Santos.
Adequately participated in the final and Andrew young Lads promising Ukrainian finished in seventh place, equalling his own Junior world record (from 23.31 seconds).

Medal Andrei Govorov in Budapest has become Ukraine’s first since 2007. Four world Championships in a row Ukrainian swimmers remained without prize-winning places.
Award Govorova – 16-I am a Ukrainian medal at the world Championships. Owners of gold became Yana Klochkova (three times), Oleg Lisogor (twice) and Denis Silantyev.
