The transfer of the greater part of the confiscated funds can be held until the end of this year.
The United States promised to give Ukraine a large part of the confiscated assets of former Prime Minister Pavlo Lazarenko. This was announced by Prosecutor General Yury Lutsenko on anti-corruption training in Kiev on Monday, may 22.
According to him, the process of returning the confiscated assets will be completed before the end of this year.
“We hope that this year we will finally reach the finals, and Ukraine has the assurance of appropriate services that she can count at least a large part of the confiscated funds”, – said Lutsenko.
