“I mean the transparency, the contribution Georgia has made to global security, reforms in the defense sector, fighting corruption etc., but I do not think that today someone will say to NATO that we are ready to accept Georgia”, – he said.
According to him, for joining the Alliance in Georgia needs to be successful, transparent, secure democracy, as in other NATO countries. However, he believes that Georgia should be ready to be in the forefront when the Alliance will decide on further expansion.
