After the phenomenal success of “It” the appearance of new adaptations of the works of writer Stephen king was expected. Well, exactly the news we were expecting ever since the time how Sasha Domogarov in an exclusive interview for Zone Horror blabbed about the fact that he has failed to renew the film rights to the story of the master that Alexandra was at the time beginning work on his short film “Suffer the little children”.
Then, in February, Domogarov, Jr. told us:
You’ll be the first to know! I now hate. But… we are to blame. It so happened that in 2016 the story “Suffer the little children” disappeared from the list the stories of Stephen king, available for the movies as babies. Then we courage sent to the office of king tried and tested scenes from the movie. We were told that the story acquired a big Studio, so it is no longer available for formal adaptation.
That is, when Sasha wanted to extend rights to adapt this story, it turned out that they bought a certain large Studio. And now we know the details.
In the original this piece is called “Suffer the Little Children”and Russian story was published under different names: “Kids in a cage”, “I can’t stand little children”, “Suffer the little children” and “Bring the little children”. The written text was back in 1972, and just boggles the mind, as so far no one has turned it into a full-length film since “Kids in a cage” is considered one of the best and most scary stories in the wizard. This story has it all: a conspiracy theory, crazy old teacher, and most importantly – very, very creepy kids
The film will be Shawn Carter, on account of which a fresh “Hack”. Producers are Craig J. Flores (“Hacking” “Gates of darkness”, “300”), Nicolas Cartier (“Windy river”, “Hacking”, “Midnight man”) and Sriram Das (“the November Man”, “Into the woods”).
