Brazilian footballer of Shakhtar ismaily may soon get the chance to play in the national team.
According to “FootballHub,” the question of naturalization ismaily was raised at today’s meeting of the Committee of national teams.
Ismaily stands at Shakhtar since February 2013. Accordingly, in February 2018 27-year-old Brazilian will be able to qualify for Ukrainian citizenship.
Ismaily could become the third Brazilian who wears the shirt of the national team of Ukraine. First on the list is former midfielder “Tavria” and “Metalist” Edmar, and in October of the current year in the main team of the country debuted teammate ismaily Marlos.
In the case of obtaining Ukrainian citizenship and national team call-ismaily is likely to displace from the starting lineup of Shakhtar graduate Nicholas Matvienko, the speaker in “Vorskla”. His replacement in the team is considered another Shakhtar player, Eduard Sobol, who plays on loan in Prague “Slavia”.
For incomplete five years at Shakhtar ismaily in all the tournaments he played 110 matches and scored 9 goals and gave 15 assists.
