The resolution accused Russia of the occupation of Crimea, aiding terrorism and participation in hostilities at the Donbass.
The OSCE parliamentary Assembly in Minsk adopted a resolution on “the Restoration of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine”. Russia voted against the adoption of this document.
According to the draft resolution, the OSCE PA expresses its “full respect for the sovereignty, independence, unity and territorial integrity of Ukraine within its internationally recognized borders, which include the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and city of Sevastopol”.
In addition, the document of the OSCE PA expresses its “condemnation of the temporary occupation of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and city of Sevastopol by the Russian Federation and a hybrid of the ongoing Russian aggression against Ukraine in the Donbas.”
Also its resolution, the OSCE PA “urges the Russian Federation to stop sponsoring terrorist activities in Ukraine through a flow of militants, money and weapons through uncontrolled government section of the Ukrainian-Russian state border and to stop all support to illegal armed groups in certain districts of Donetsk and Lugansk regions of Ukraine, who are committing terrorist acts in Ukraine.”
The resolution also calls on Russia “to ensure the withdrawal of their armed forces, military equipment and mercenaries from the territory of certain districts of Donetsk and Lugansk regions of Ukraine under the supervision of the OSCE, as well as disarmament of all illegal armed groups”.
