Against the citizens of Ukraine can open criminal proceedings.
The security service of Ukraine (SBU) should analyze the information about the stay in the Crimea, politicians from Europe and other countries to introduce sanctions against them. This was stated by Secretary of national security Council and defence of Ukraine (NSDC) Oleksandr Turchynov,
On it informs a press-Department service on Sunday, March 19.
“The security service should prepare and submit for consideration of the NSDC of Ukraine the list of officials of the European Parliament and politicians from the countries of the European Union, the Union of independent States and Latin America, which, according to Russian media reports, arrived on a three-day visit to annexed Crimea”, – said Turchinov.
He stressed that in case of confirmation of this information will be considered the question of possible sanctions and, in the case of the presence in the Crimea citizens of Ukraine opened criminal proceedings.
In turn, the SBU confirmed that in occupied Crimea came to foreign policy, including from Europe. “I can only say that we will act within the law. We check the information about citizens of Ukraine (in Crimea – ed.)… Can confirm the information that, according to our data, in the territory of Crimea are the policies of foreign countries and of Europe in particular”, – said Advisor to the head of the SBU Yuriy Tandit.
He also confirmed the visit to occupied Crimea self-proclaimed “officials” of Donetsk and Luhansk and suggested that Russia meant it when he disseminated information about the visit of the Ukrainian politicians.
