Gabriel and all the Federal government constantly criticize the annexation of Crimea, which is contrary to international law
The German government condemns the annexation of the Ukrainian Crimea and violations on the Peninsula human rights, as constantly indicates the Russian side. This is stated in the statement of the Ministry of foreign Affairs of Germany.
“The Minister of foreign Affairs, Sigmar Gabriel, and all the Federal government constantly and bluntly criticized the annexation of Crimea, which is contrary to international law, including during meetings and negotiations with the Russian government and the public,” – said the Ministry.
The Ministry stressed that “strongly support the restoration of the rule of law and protection of human rights in Crimea”.
As reported, the Ukrainian human rights activists called on the German foreign Minister Gabriel to put before the government the question of the need to allow doctors to Ukrainian political prisoners in Russia and occupied Crimea.
