In Kiev held the first semifinal of the 62nd International song contest.
All the contestants of the first semifinal of Eurovision-2017 have completed their presentations, the voting has started.
As reported by UKRINFORM, the winners of today’s show will choose on the greatest number of points in the 50 by 50, that is, will be considered the highest score of the audience, as well as members of the national jury.
For the audience voting is conducted via SMS and phone calls.
After the vote, the leading Eurovision Vladimir Ostapchuk, Alexander skichko and Timur Miroshnichenko will announce the results of the audience voting in the sum of estimates from the national jury of the participating countries.
Participation in the first semifinal attended by representatives of 18 countries – Sweden, Georgia, Australia, Albania, Belgium, Montenegro, Finland, Azerbaijan, Portugal, Greece, Poland, Moldova, Iceland, Czech Republic, Cyprus, Armenia, Slovenia and Latvia. Of them will pass to the final 10.
Another ten finalists will be selected during the second semi-final which will be held may 11.
Note that without selection once in the finals, representatives of the countries “Big five” founders of the contest – the UK, Italy, Spain, France, Germany and the host country of the competition – Ukraine.
To vote in the first semifinal of the competition, in addition to the 18 countries whose representatives are also joined by three of the country’s “Big five” – Britain, Italy and Spain.
Ukraine will be able to take part in the voting in the second semifinal and the final.
As reported by UKRINFORM, at 22 o’clock on the Kiev time in the exhibition centre in the Ukrainian capital began the first semifinal of Eurovision-2017, which is the first competition day of the song contest and the first show, which is broadcast live. The second semi-final of the Eurovision song contest-2017 will be held on Thursday, may 11, and the final on Saturday, may 13.
