Yury Grymchak said that instead of “anti-terrorist operation” is used the term “operation on defence of Ukraine”.
The Deputy Minister of the temporarily occupied territories and internally displaced persons Yury Grymchak said that the draft law on the reintegration of Donbass provides for the introduction of the concept of “operation on defence of Ukraine” instead of ATO.
The Deputy Minister stressed that the word “war” in the law will not, as that would mean the announcement of war of Russia with all consequences.
“We can call it a war. Then actually we declare war on Russia. Today Russia said that “we are not there”. But when we declare war, we begin to “get” everything that can offer the Russian defense industry: tanks, artillery, planes, missiles and many other things. It is necessary for us?”, explained Grymchak.
According to him, the draft law on the Donbass will make changes regarding peacekeepers and will be offered on consideration of deputies of Ukraine after the session of the UN General Assembly.
