One of the major projects excellent writer Joe hill’s graphic novel series “Locke Key”, will get a second chance to the embodiment in the form of a TV show. Web service Hulu has ordered a pilot episode of the show-run to Carlton Cuse and company IDW Entertainment. To direct the one-hour first series, and when a successful show and a few episodes of the first season, alleged, invited Scott Derrickson, famous Director of hit strips “Sinister”, “Deliver us from evil” and “Doctor strange”.
The plot of”Keys of Loki” tells about the three relatives who, after the brutal murder of their father, Rendell Locke, we enter the mysterious house full of keys of unknown origin. The mystical feature is that the keys they give their holders amazing abilities, but the young Locke are not the only one who is interested in using these artifacts. That’s what Joe hill said about his creation:
I love this story. The seven years spent on “the Keys of Locke,” was the happiest time of my life, and still not a day goes by when I haven’t thought about their characters and miss them. Six books in the series for me, look like six seasons of some cable show, and the idea to make them as a TV show seems great to me. Let’s see if we to horror to scare the audience.
Graphic novel hill is not the first time chosen close to the film adaptation. The first attempt dates back to years 2010-2011 when the pilot was ordered by Fox, the Director was mark Romanek (the Thriller “one hour Photo”), and starring Sarah Bolger, Miranda Otto and Nick Stahl. Then developments have not been approved by the Studio, but was shown at Comic-Con in 2011.
